Many people in our community are interested in finding out more about their home’s history. Who lived in it? When was it built? What is its architectural style? Are there any interesting stories about my home? Over time, the Peru Historical Society will explore the history of some of our historic homes and share that information on our historic homes page.
If you already have done research on your home, we encourage you to share it with our Society – you can email us the information at info@peruhistoricalsociety.org or drop it of at the Peru Municipal Building or bring it to one of our monthly meetings. You could also share information about your discoveries at one of these meetings!
