The Illinois Secretary of State Database of Illinois Spanish-American War Veterans does not list any people who served in this conflict who were living in Peru, Illinois. However, one man who did serve, George Preston Blow, moved to Peru after the conflict and managed Westclox – a large Peru industry. Mr. Blow descended from a long line of men who served our country.
